Salsa Night moving to Friday at The Harem!!

I know that salsa night at The Harem is moving to Friday nights for many reasons, unfortunately some of those reasons include trying to attract a bigger and

to mix or not to mix? that 's the question

To mix or not to mix ? , i always been curious about what people think of the way dj 's play the music , i am talking about salsa only , because some dj's mix the songs one after another , that means they beat match the songs to get a smooth transition betwen every song so the music set sound's like a single long song or a nice clean mix.

good music and how to get it

WELL , there is a website called , descarga.com , they have a huge catalog of salsa music.

Why Salsa?

I've been asked countless times why I salsa. First, WHY NOT! My passion for dance began at an early age watching my parents glide across the hardwood floors in the various places we lived. They were happy & laughing as they moved to the music. Whether they were dancing to Big Band, Waltz, or their form of Tango I was fascinated with the music & dance. Sometimes my dad would wisk me up in his arms or have me "dance " on his feet. I was exposed to a variety of cultures & art forms.

Cast and crutches anyone?

Sunday night was fantastic. Absolutely entertaining, great energy, wonderful dancers and just plain old amazing as always. Unfortunately, I had to leave.
