Chicago Salsa Festival 2008

The 2008 Chicago Salsa Festival is gearing up to take over downtown Chicago with four days and nights of dancing indoor and out. The festival is centered at the historic Palmer House hotel in the financial district downtown. The Palmer house is known for its huge elegant ballrooms and is a perfect location to access everything downtown including shopping, restaurants and of course the beach.
Organizers Lisa "La Boriqua" & Latin Street Dancing have lined up 30 workshops, lots of performances and live concerts each night at nearby clubs and during the Taste of Chicago festival in Grant Park.

La Inspiracion
Ozzie and La Inspiracion heat up Friday night at Pi Banquet Hall in Southfield with their hot salsa sounds. Hosted by Pura Salsa Party and located near 12 mile and Northwestern, the Pi Banquet Hall offers spacious dance floor and premium bar service.
The evening kicks off with a complimentary salsa lesson with Elaine Marrero, from the Troy Dance Studio.
