Salsa Festivals

A once a year event focused on salsa music, dancing, and learning. Not as big as a congress but bigger then a salsa social.

Columbus Salsa Festival 7 - November 13-15 2009

Colombus Salsa FestivalEddie Torres is one of the most famous salsa dance instructors in the world. Through his dance school, he has taught thousands of people how to dance salsa in his own distinctive style.

Early on, Eddie developed a vision: to see Latin dancing evolve to the point of a respected, classic art form. Recognizing the need to pass the traditions of the music and the dance on to future generations, Mr. T. took it upon himself to make it happen. Broadway musicals, Ailey's work, African dancing, and flamenco all were sources of inspiration for Eddie. Watching, imitating, and admiring the people that were the tops, Eddie slowly evolved as a pro. His style results from a true amalgamation of all those that came before him.

...and we would like to share this gift with everyone!
