Bakers Lounge!

This one is for all you latin jazz fans with a taste for soul food!

LL7  (Lynn LaPlante 7) will be performing at the world famous Bakers Keyboard Lounge Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Bakers Keyboard Lounge is a soul food restaurant and the longest running jazz cafe on the planet. World renown musicians like Dave Brubeck and John Coltrane have performed there as well as many other up and coming artist who make performing at Baker's a rite of passage as they advance in their careers.  On the 28th Baker's will continue their tradition of jazz performance with some latin jazz by LL7. 

LL7 is a latin jazz cover band formed in 2007 that performs tunes from artist like Tito Puente, Bronx Horns, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Mamborama, Cal Tjade, as well as other standard jazz tunes all in clave. 

This night will be perfect for those that want to try something a little different by enjoying some delicious soul food to the sounds classic latin jazz.  Although the music and the food should be fantastic, there is NO dance floor.  So you might have to resist the urge to get up and dance, but we won't blame ya if you do!
