Policies for Fair Use
The first thing to remember about this site is that it is intended to help bring together and grow the Detroit Salsa scene. So, that said please contribute those things that carry help out our mission.

Our Mission
"To create an environment in which salsa dancers of all levels and styles can thrive in the Detroit area."
The YA Socials and workshops, this website and our participation in salsa education are our tools to achieving this vision.
Volunteer
Just some of the ways to help out are:
- Putting the word out about YA Salsa and the Detroit Salsa Scene at related events
- Writing articles, reviews or comments
- Taking pictures at socials , clubs or other events and posting them on YA Salsa
- Setting up or cleaning up at the socials
- Handing out or posting flyers for YA Salsa, your favorite club or studio
- Contributing blogs, comments or ratings
- Performing at a YA Event
- Becoming an editor or content contributor on YA Salsa
- Marketing, media and public relations!!!
- Technology
- Videography & editing
- Reporting -- especially "special interests"
- Maintaining event & club listings for Lansing, Kalamazoo & Grand Rapids

Growing the salsa scene isn't just the job of the professional instructors and promoters; it takes commitment from the entire dancing community to introduce new people to the scene.
