YA Salsa on the Red Wings Dance Cam
Posted March 6th, 2008 by Geo-The YA Salsa Team made its mark on the Red Wings crowd at Joe Louis Arena Wednesday the 5th with pre-game lessons and dancing followed by a feature spot on the Red Wings Dance Cam. It was a great event and a great team effort to pull it all together.

Just as the Red Wings have to pull together as a team to win games, YA truely does that to support and grow the Detroit salsa dance scene. Special thanks go out to sheshe (Lashena) for continually keeping and eye on us and divinely intervening from Dallas without even being asked; playing a key role helping to make this event a success.
Salsa Classes @ Jewish Community Center
Posted October 14th, 2007 by marcimamboSalseros Marci and Dimas bring latin sabor to the JCC with 8 week salsa courses designed for new or intermediate dancers. They also offer private and performances for parties and festivals.
***FALL SESSION*** 8-week course, Saturdays, beginning September 6th.
- Beginning: 12pm - 1pm
- Intermediate: 1pm - 2pm
- Cost: $96 JCC members; $120 Non-members.

Big Dance at the Masonic

Saturday, October 20, 2007, MDSA and The BIG DANCE take over the the Masonic Temple in Detroit, with FOUR ballrooms of dancing including ballroom, swing, sala and tango. This is a first class event aiming to bring together dancers of all styles into a full day of workshops, performances, competitions and social dancing.
For Detroit, Windsor and Ann Arbor salseros, this is a great opportunity to try out other modes of dancing with some of the Detroit area's top instructors.
