Why so inexpensive? This is your salsa social dollars at work! If you ever wondered where the $10 you pay to enter the YA Salsa social goes, look no further then the YA Salsa Workshops. Almost all of the proceeds from the social are used to bring in exceptional salsa instructors from all over the country, to teach classes at exceptionally low price, to anyone who is interested expanding their salsa dancing horizons. In conjunction with the performance of the Afro-Cuban All Stars on July 8 at the Power Center, the festival and Ann Arbor District Library present an artist discussion with bandleader Juan De Marcos Gonzalez on the evolution of Cuban music from Buena Vista Social Club to today.  The discussion will be moderated by Marc Taras, host of "Cuban Fantasy" on WEMU, 89.1 FM.
