Cincinnati Salsa Festival 2009

The Cincinnati Salsa Festival closes August with a bang! Cincinnati’s second annual Salsa Festival runs August 27 - 30, 2009

Thursday August 27th:

• Kick Off Party at Cincinnati Fountain Square 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Live band "Son Del Caribe"
• Free salsa class by Salsa Underground
• Salsa Demonstration

Friday August 28th:

• Pre-Party 10:00 pm - 3:00 am
• Live Band the "Salsa Chicago Mambo All Stars"
• The elimination round of the Tri-State Salsa Open Championship

Saturday August 29th:

• Workshops from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency of Cincinnati
• Festival at Sawyer Point Park from 12:00 noon - 10:00 pm
• Guinness World Record attempt for largest Salsa Class 6:00 pm
• After Party at the Hyatt Regency of Cincinnati 10:00 pm - 3:00 am
• Live Band "Casablanca"
• Final round of the Tri-State Salsa Open Championship

Sunday August 30th:

• Workshops from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency of Cincinnati
• Festival at Sawyer Point Park from 12:00 noon - 9:00 pm

Come and join us for a weekend of entertainment for the entire family to enjoy. There will be food vendors from all over the world, merchandise vendors, and we have added a Children's World that will include games, face painting, rides, and much more!!

Also join us in the attempt to have the Largest Salsa Class in the Guinness Book of World Record on Saturday, August 29th at 6:00pm.
