Music Course:
· Classes held at Havana's National School of Music.
· Intermediate through advanced musicians on all
instruments are welcome.
· 5 hours of instruction daily, including instrument
classes, arranging, rhythms workshops, ensembles.
· Master instructors include Enrique Pla (of Ira Kere),
Jose Eladio Amat and Pupy Pedroso.
Salsa Dance Program:
· Classes for beginning to advanced dancers
separated into 3 levels.
· 4 to 5 hours a day of salsa, son, cha-cha-cha,
mambo and rueda de casino.
· Students have Cuban dance partners in all classes.
· Instructors are members of internationally
acclaimed dance company, Ban Rarrá.

The
Palco is a beautiful hotel within waking distance of the school. Price
includes accommodations with breakfast, classes and other activities,

| Havana International Jazz Festival |

Join us for an exciting week of concerts and excursions during Havana's
Jazz Festival. Cuban piano genius, Chucho Valdes, presides over a
variety of Latin jazz, pop, timba and straight jazz groups at multiple
venues. Cuba is represented by amazing musicians like Bobby Carcasses,
Giraldo Piloto, Manolito and Pupy Pedroso.
Accommodations at the famous Hotel Nacional

This
classic hotel is the center for Jazz festival activities. Price
includes accommodations with breakfast, daily excursions and

Afro-Cuban Folklore, Rumba and Salsa

· Afro-Cuban Folklore and Rumba Dance:
A variety of instructors give classes in Yoruba,
Rumba, Arará and Palo styles. Live music.
· Percussion Program: Study a variety of rhythms
for folkloric and popular music. Focus on congas,
bongó, batá or a combination of instruments.
· Salsa Dance: Classes for beginning to advanced
dancers separated into levels. 4 to 5 hours a day of
instruction in salsa and other Cuban styles.
