2007 Canada Salsa Congress

Attracting dancers from all over Canada and Eastern/Midwest US it offers a great opportunity to dance both On1 and On2 as well as play in one of the worlds great cities.
With an opening night gala on Thursday night the Congress gets into the real swing of things with lessons on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, great performances on Friday and Saturday nights highlighting Canadian dancers. On Sunday the congress ends with a wrap up party.
Within easy driving distance of Detroit, the Congress is held at the at the Sheraton Centere hotel in downtown Toronto. Great restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance of the hotel.
The 1st Annual Canadian Salsa Championships will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 as part of the Opening Night Gala for the 5th Annual Canada Salsa Congress. The winners qualify for the World Salsa Championships at Disneyworld, Florida.

Held in the heart of downtown Toronto, this is the fitth annual Canada Salsa Congress. One of the more organized and on time congresses, last year's was a great hit and this promises to be more of the same. With low travel costs and affordable hotel, its a great opportunity for those on a budget to try out the "congresso" circuit.

This DVD is packed with some incredible routines with some of the worlds best salsa dancers. Tito & Tamara, Ana & Joel, Los Salsomanos, Al and Karla Espinoza, Jayson Molina and his dance groups are just a few of the wonderful dancers and performance groups highlighting this DVD.
Canada 5th Salsa Congress October 4-8,2007 in Toronto

On recommmendations from friends and other salsa enthusiasts I decided to attend the congress. Toronto is one of my favorite cities. So much to see & do. So culturally diverse. Friday, Saturday, & Sunday proved to be an exciting, fun, and exhausting experience. I'm still smiling and wondering if I will ever get enough salsa! That is not to say that I didn't wish for some things to be different. Are we ever totally satisfied?

TO -- Late Night Restaurants
Last year we were unable to find late night restaurants (3 AM) anywhere near the hotel. Any one have suggestions?
