2008 Canada Salsa Congress

Attracting dancers from all over Canada and Eastern/Midwest US it offers a great opportunity to dance both On1 and On2 as well as play in one of the worlds great cities.
With an opening night gala on Thursday night the Congress gets into the real swing of things with lessons on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, great performances on Friday and Saturday nights highlighting Canadian dancers. On Sunday the congress ends with a wrap up party.
Within easy driving distance of Detroit, the Congress is held at the at the Sheraton Centere hotel in downtown Toronto. Great restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance of the hotel.
The 2nd Annual Canadian Salsa Championships will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 2008 as part of the Opening Night Gala for the 6th Annual Canada Salsa Congress. The winners qualify for the World Salsa Championships at Disneyworld, Florida.

This is the one..
Salseros of Detroit, this is the congress to go to. The description above is right on when it comes to travel and how great this congress really is. All events and classes are centrally located which makes for a smooth day and night of access to everything. This hotel has a great 'restaurant row' which makes eating quick and easy. Just outside of the hotel one can also find fantastic places to eat all within a few blocks.
For Congresso veterans and rookies this congress has something you'll enjoy. The event is run smoothly and you'll be entertained the whole time your there. If you're on the fence, get off it and go to this congress. This is the perfect salsa weekend trip, I hope to see you there.
