Orchesta Sensacional Performs Live in Detroit!

Orchesta Sensacional will perform all morning from 10am until 3 pm at Eastern Market on Saturday August 30th. They are a great band and Eastern Market is a GREAT place! The adress is 2934 Russell Street Detroit, 48207. If you have not had the experience of a Saturday morning shopping for fresh fruits, veggies, breads, flowers and had breakfast at either Russell Street Deli or Farmers Market on a Saturday morning then you need to get up and use seeing a great band as an excuse to try it! I love this place and if I wasn't going to be at the New York City Salsa Congress that Saturday morning you would see me there!

Eastern Market
There are fresh cheeses, wine, sausage, meats, poultry, plants, spices, candy, & yard decor to antiques. I like the cherry vinegar from Traverse City. Vivio's serves breakfast with Bloody Marys & a beer chaser. There are several restaurants from informal to formal. Barts (famous for Jazz) cooks ribs, chicken & corn on the grill & has live entertainment. Rocky Mountain Peanut Co., Germack, & The Spice store, some clothing , music stores or vendors, & street art add variety. They started bike "taxi's this year although I haven't seen them. People watching is fun, too!

Eastern Market again
Parking poses a challenge, so car pooling would be a good idea. I have my favortie "spots". Don't be surprised if you see a lot of red wagons or pull carts.
