New Thursday Night at Pi
Many people have asked me about the new venue, Pi in Southfield. Here's the scoop: Come check it out this Thursday, April 10th. The atmosphere is beautiful -- nice lighting, perfect dance floor, and the food that we ordered was excellent (tapas). What a nice change of pace to have some space on the dance floor, without getting smashed into. This past Thursday there were enough people to enjoy dancing the whole evening to music by our friend DJ Isaac (mostly salsa, some cha cha cha and bachata). My beginning salsa class will start at 9:30 p.m. Cover for the evening is $7. Please join us! -- Mambo Marci
Oh... and please note that Pi restaurant is located just down the street from the 'ol Volcano Grill in Southfield, at 12 Mile and Northwestern Hwy. The dancing is BEHIND the restaurant, in the banquet hall.

I was at PI last Thursday and had a wonderful time. The dance floor is HUGE and the room is so classy.... hopefully more of us can make it out there this week. It would be great to have that place full of people - it's a great spot.
