Why?
Why are the doors closing? I finally convinced a friend of mine to take a class there. Now I may never get her into salsa!

Just the parties?
Are they just disconinuing the parties? or are they shutting down all together?
I guess I could ask tonight....
The Studio
Altogether. Hopefully I will be able to make it there tonight too. The stars are aligned for me to come.
One more time
Noticing your stars were aligned, I checked my moon and it was in the fith house. With the news of it closing, I had to check it out once more. Sad to hear that one of the anchors for Ann Arbor salsa is moving -- it was a really nice location. I had fun tonight -- not a big crowd but everyone was great. We actually did some ruedas! Everyone: Seriously. Learn rueda. -- you will like it and have lots of fun. They really mixed it up tonight with swing and hustle. I don't do those, but I could tell lots of people were really happy about that. Now hopefully we find another salsero heavy Saturday night...

Yay!
Even though Dance Revolution is closing, I still hope to see all the familiar faces at the new dance studio as soon as things are set up. We really want you all to know how much we appreciate everyone's support for the last couple of years. Thanks to everyone who could make it for our last party and also thanks to those who tried to make it. That said, we did have a blast at the party. Now I just want to add a little info to go along with the rueda comment. For anyone interested to learn rueda, Monday nights 7pm @ Michigan Union 2nd floor(usually), Msalsa teaches it and it's only $5 (for more info check out the website at http://www.umich.edu/~msalsa/). Honestly the cheapest salsa class you can find around the area, that I can promise you. The lessons are great! You learn at your own pace and the instructors are very patient. Not only do you get to learn about rueda, but you also get to refine your basic dance skills such as leading/following, thinking quick on your feet, counting the beat of the music, awareness of dance space, and so much more. From personal experience, I've found it to improve my salsa dancing by leaps and bounds. Plus, it's just so much fun! So I hope to see more people come to learn some rueda and I hope to see everyone at the next social!
That last one was me.
That last comment was from me. I forgot to sign-in before i wrote it.
I live to dance, I breath to dance longer.
