And she will be celebrating it at the Award Party! Mama Nellie has been by far the most supportive member of our salsa community. She is seen out dancing at every Latin and salsa club you can think of. So come out and give Nellie her birthday dance, because there is no salsa club you can go to and hide from her if you don't!

The hosts are Bobby Green & Cheryl White who are among those community and scene builders. Among the recipients will be duane Wrenn of Energetic Soul, DJ Cisco of Salsa Detroit and the YA Salsa team. Come help in the celebrations and enjoy a night of dancing.

There are many people who work hard day after day and year after year to make the Detroit Salsa scene work and Soul Salsa has decided to organize an event to recognize some of those special contributors.

Awards Appreciation Party
It was a very nice event. I heard a lot of good comments & feedback from other attendees. Heard comments that it should continue in a special place yearly .
