The historic Crofoot in Pontiac opens for an X-Mas salsa party hosted by DJ Mis.Match and DJ Roberto Ayala from Chicago. The Crofoot Building was constructed in the 1830s and rebuilt in 1852. A fire in the 1950s destroyed the third floor and the building sat vacant for more than a decade until a developer, along with help from a $100,000 state Cool Cities grant, restored as much of the building as possible to its original 1852 state.

Time to break out my party dress!
I am so excited to have a chance to really dress up for a salsa party!
Pre Party
Well, since this is going to be in downtown Pontiac and about 5 minutes from my house maybe having a get together at my house in advance may not hurt. Hmmm....
If the Party dress is being broken out...

I don't know about anyone else but I enjoyed myself at this event. The venue was great and the excitement of the Hostest/Promotor DJ Mis Match carried over.
I had a good time too.
It was cool seeing everyone there and the DJ from Chicago was pretty good. I liked the fact that all the salsa that he played was on the slower end of the spectrum so I didn't have to sweat as much :)
The only downside was the paying the $16 VIP pass. That ended up being a total waste of money. I could have bought another drink with that 6 bucks!
It was nice
The place was great, but yeah the whole VIP thing was kind of a joke. Aside from that good music and a good time.
