Toronto Salsa Congress performance DVD - 2006

Two words…GREAT STUFF!

This DVD is packed with some incredible routines with some of the worlds best salsa dancers. Tito & Tamara, Ana & Joel, Los Salsomanos, Al and Karla Espinoza, Jayson Molina and his dance groups are just a few of the wonderful dancers and performance groups highlighting this DVD.

Actually, for me…one of the best parts of the DVD is the music. A friend of mine puts the DVD on just to have the music on while she cleans her place….the music is goooooooooood.

I know the Harem has it playing once in a while on the t.v.’s there. When taking a break from dancing check out some of the performances, I think you’ll really enjoy them, maybe even learn a pattern or shine or two.

If you’ve ever come across DVD’s in the past and weren’t sure if you wanted to buy it, this is one I highly recommend, it’s really worth it.

Looking forward to Toronto 2007 in a few weeks!

DVD preview at Harem.

Once in a while we pop this DVD in on the big screens at the Harem. It adds to the vibe of the night.

What about Windsor Salsa?

Someone asked me if i knew of any places to Salsa in Windsor. Any ideas?

Salsa in Windsor

There is one place on Friday Nights which I have been to before called the Empire Lounge. Nice dance floor and lounge inside but they play a little of Salsa, merengue and more reggaeton & hip hop. I think the club tries to please a younger crowd. Plus I believe there are not as many people in Windsor who know how to dance salsa, which is one thing I am definitely trying to change by offering beginner classes. So who knows, you have to start somewhere and I know dedicated dancers will always try something new, if they can get there groove on!!!

Salsa in Windsor

There used to be several Salsa places to dance @ years ago. They closed due to the poor economy & dwindling attendance.
