NYC Salsa Congress:

Each Labor Day weekend the New York Salsa Congress draws a huge crowd of salsa pros and enthusiasts from all over the planet to midtown Manhattan for four nights of dancing till dawn. The Hilton features a 25000 square foot dance floor where the party goes on till 5 AM on Friday and Saturday night. Primarily an On2 event the NYSC is a great opportunity to expand your dancing stylistically and see the Big Apple.

A Labor Day tradition in downtown Detroit, the Jazz Festival is one of the Detroits premier musical events. Each year, Detroit becomes a focal point for Jazz afficionados from around the world. Salsa highlights this year include concerts by salsa luminary Poncho Sanchez and the Sunday night finale by Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
