Salsa To Move You - SKY Mambo Project Vol. 1

This salsa play list comes to you via the SKY Mambo Project. This list contains a mix of salsa tracks from the 60's to the present day. For most of us, it does not matter what era the music was created. All that matters is that it grooves and it's great to dance salsa to! If you hear a song you really like, you will probably be able to find it among the music stores listed here.

What is Salsa?

Salsa is an upbeat partner dance that can be found in Latin themed night clubs and social events the world over. You can find all ages and ethnicities dancing salsa all over the United States, and almost any other country in the world you can think of. Countries as diverse as South Korea, China, Mexico, the UK, South America, Spain, Italy, Canada, Hungary, Japan, France, Australia all have thriving salsa scenes. Salsa music and dancing comes in many forms and from many places each with their own unique style and flavor. From salsa dura to timba to pop salsa, salsa music reflects many cultures and influences.

YASalsa.com On2.0

Am I in the right place? Yep, you came to the right place. Things may look a little different but we hope it will be for the better. In our efforts to grow the Salsa Dance community in Detroit, we have decided to take the site to a new level by offering more interactive, community-building features and a lot more information about salsa dancing, music, Detroit, and the people who make up our community.

We want to turn new people on to salsa dancing; support studios, clubs and events that make up the dance scene; and help dancers of all levels continue to grow.
